A new museum founded in 1998 covering the River Thames, the sport of rowing and the town of Henley-on-Thames, England.
The River & Rowing Museum houses a collection of 20,000 items. Discover the incredible history of rowing from the Ancient Greeks to the modern Olympics, dress up in Edwardian costume or journey through thousands of years along the River Thames.
You can also enjoy a picnic in the beautiful Wind in the Willows gallery or see the 3D exhibition that brings Kenneth Grahame’s children’s classic story to life.
